In my studio practice, I seek an interaction between diverse materials and concepts, especially those that defy logic. In
some of my sculpture, delicate threads bind powerful, weighty forms, addressing notions of permanence, fragility, and containment. I have long contemplated the internal and external properties of the cube, a form that holds endless
fascination for me. Drawn to the natural sense of stability and geometric perfection of cubic structure, I have examined
its relationship to architecture as well as inwardness, seclusion, and habitation.
